FishLiss Kansas boasts just under 400 acres of some of the best bird hunting in the central United States. Located just west of central Kansas, our land is surrounded by fields of feed with natural water holes and full cover in CRP. There isn’t anything like it around and the birds are thick!!!
We’re working hard to ensure a healthy bird population. Limiting the number of hunters at any given time, and ensuring feed and water are available, will help keep the pheasants in our area for all to enjoy for years to come.
Under the recent allowance due to the drought, we’ve managed to mow strips through our fields. This allows hunters, and their dogs, to have a better chance of keeping the birds in close and not running miles in front of the line of hunters.
Working with state officials, we’re striving to bring back the quail population on our land as well. Although not quite there yet, we’re hopeful that in the near future we’ll be able to offer quail hunting as well! Stay tuned!
